External Threaded Stud Pot Magnet / Male Threaded Pot Magnet
The external threaded stud pot magnet is also known as a male threaded pot magnet. They consist of a ferromagnetic mild steel cup containing a magnet (usually a disc magnet) with a ferromagnetic mild steel threaded bar or threaded bush or threaded bush at the back of the pot magnet. A nut can then be used to secure the external threaded stud pot magnet to any assembly with a hole in it (by passing the threaded section through the hole).
Male Threaded Stud Pot Magnets
These pot magnets are known as male threaded stud pot magnets because the threaded bar at the back could take pot magnets with internal threaded holes (internal threaded stud pot magnets /female threaded stud pot magnets) as well as nuts.
The ferrite version of the external threaded stud pot magnet / male threaded pot magnet can be used at temperatures up to +100 degrees C and is suitable for almost any application.
